Stockholm-natives Greta, Sunniva and Stella Bondesson have been putting their Swedish-spin on the American folk-rock genre since 2007 and show no signs of slowing down. Performing under the band name Baskery, the sisterly trio first let the world hear their self-described “banjo punk” sound on their 2008 debut album, Fall Among Thieves, where they drew comparisons to popular bands like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, before blowing everyone away again with in 2009 with their second album, New Friends. After releasing their 3rd album, Little Wild Life, they relocated to Los Angeles, CA in 2014 where they signed to Warner Bros. records and began working on their yet to be named 4th studio album. Baskery has toured with Robbie Williams, Ina Muller, and Seth Lakeman, and have played major music festivals across the world like Oregon’s Sisters Folk Festival and Colorado’s Four Corners Folk Festival. Playing everything from guitar, drums, banjos, to the cello, these multi-talented sisters are leaving their unique mark on the indie-folk genre. Baskery’s debut album is due in early 2017 via Warner Brothers.
